How to Calculate Boards Required
- Measure your decking area:
- Width (m) × Length (m)
- Calculate total square metres.
- Divide by 0.70
- Add 10% extra for cuts and wastage.
Example
A decking area measuring 5m x 5m:
- 5 × 5 = 25m²
- 25 ÷ 0.70 = 35.71 boards
- Add 10% wastage = 39.28 boards
